Thank you for your question, all Fiberbuilt Golf mats have UV treated fibers (with a 5 year warranty against UV damage). Most of our mats also have drainage built in so they can safely be used outdoors. If you are going to install your mat outside I would recommend that you place it on a firm packed and level surface like a concrete pad or a deck.
