I’d like to buy a portable mat to bring to my local driving rAnge ., would like to save my hands & elbow from tendinitis

Thanks for your question, depending on the set up at your local range you should be able to lay this down beside the existing mat and save your elbows! It will not fly away on impact but it may slide forward slightly after impact depending on what surface you are setting it on. If you are setting it on natural grass you can place a couple of tees in the holes in the mat and it will stay exactly in place.
