Does the hitting surface sit level with the rubber stance area? It looks higher in the pics?

The hitting area on the Practice Station is marginally higher than your feet to accommodate for the fact that the rubber base is not as forgiving underfoot as a real grass fairway and we have taken the design approach to have your practice experience replicate real playing conditions as closely as possible.
