How thick are the Player Preferred mats?
Player Preferred Series Studio Golf Mat - Center Hitting - 10'x4'
Wanting to know how far above the ground these will be so I can build up a base around the mat and have a smooth surface from mat to putting area

The outside edge of the mat's rubber base is 1 3/4 inches high and the turf sits just a bit higher. So you can be safe around 2". Another alternative is you can consider one of our Player Preferred Series Combo Mats that integrate the Player Preferred Series' hitting surface into a putting green so there's a continuous surface.
