Good question, since it's not commonly known. The friction-fit tee holder is a rubber insert that goes into the tee holes in the Player Preferred Series hitting surface that lets you place a real tee in it. (It can also fit in the tee holes in Fiberbuilt Grass Series hitting panels.) It allows you to use different height tees or just adjust the tee height, depending on the club you're using.
