With the size and weight of the base of the Fiberbuilt Grass Single-Hitting Studio Mat, it is really made for stability rather than for portability. It is not meant to be dragged from place to place. With that said, thanks to being a component-based system built on a modular base, it's still relatively easy to break it down and move the components as needed. We would just recommend that you don't use the connector pins to hold the base pieces together if you will be regularly breaking it down and moving it.
